In the total energy consumption in water supply and sanitation in human settlements and industrial facilities for more than 90% are pumping systems for natural, potable, industrial and waste water to supply reagents and air. Due to rapidly rising prices for gas and oil in all countries urgently raises questions of energy efficiency of water supply and sanitation, as well as their elements.
This explains the stringent requirements of international and European standards (ISO and EN) as to efficiency and quality of pumping equipment. Thus, the international association of European manufacturers of pumps Grundfos up15-29su introduced a new labeling scheme approved pumps.
